Katie Chambers is a professional editor, author, and founder of Beacon Point Services, where she has edited nearly 300 books since 2016. With a background as an English teacher, she brings both technical expertise and a teacher’s instinct for clarity to her work—helping authors strengthen their writing while delivering polished, publishable manuscripts.
She specializes in nonfiction (business books, self-help, religious guidebooks, and memoirs) and fiction (fantasy, dystopian, thriller, mystery, and children’s books), offering substantive/developmental editing, copyediting, and manuscript consultation services.
